COVID-19 (Coronavirus) - Update March 18, 2020

IMPORTANT MESSAGE for our members on COVID19 — March 18, 2020

In light of current events, we want to assure you that Mount Lehman Credit Union is taking COVID-19 seriously.  We remain open, with protocols in place to protect the health and well-being of our members and employees. We are monitoring and following direction from the Government of Canada and the Government of B.C.  

BC Minister of Public Safety  and Solicitor General Mike Farnworh has issued a provincial state of emergency to help curb the spread of COVID-19.

We are currently not performing face-to-face transactions. However, we will accept appointments for transactions and services that are unable to be done by ATM, night deposit or Internet banking.

We are here for you. Staff are available to help and support you by phone, email and appointments.

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) – A message for our members March 16, 2020

Effective immediately we are taking steps to limit exposure of members and staff to potential transmission of COVID-19. The branch remains open, but we will only be accepting one member at a time inside the branch and maintaining distance during your visit. 


Please phone 604-856-7761 to make an appointment.


If you are not feeling well, we ask you to please refrain from coming into the branch and, instead, contact us by phone.


In this time of uncertainty, the safety and well-being of our members, staff and communities is our top priority. Things are changing rapidly, and we continue to monitor and assess the updates provided by the Government of Canada and Public Health. While our staff remain available to assist you, we’ve decided it is in the best interest of our valued members and staff to change our service delivery at our branch at this time. 

Our staff is committed to delivering the products and services you rely on to provide financial security and peace of mind. There are many ways to safely connect with us for assistance:

  • By telephone during business hours at 604-856-7761.
  • By email at info@mtlehman.com.
  • Banking services are also available through the ATM, night deposit, online banking and our iPhone app.
  • For after hour emergencies call 604-856-7715 and leave a message with your name and number and a staff member will return your call ASAP.

    We’re keeping informed of government announcements regarding COVID-19 to see how we may need to continue to adjust our operations to continue to protect the health and well-being of our employees, while also meeting the needs of our members.

COVID-19 March 13, 2020 Update

Our Management and Board of Directors would like to provide members with information about how we are responding to the COVID-19 developments. We are following advice from our provincial and federal health agencies, and want to assure you that we have plans in place to provide ongoing service to our members.
Our top priority is the health and wellbeing of our members and employees. If you are not feeling well, we ask you to contact us by phone instead of coming into the branch if you require our services.
Our goal is to keep Mount Lehman Credit Union open to serve our members. This includes providing services through online banking, our mobile app, the ATM and night deposits. You can always contact us by phone during regular business hours.
At the branch we are undertaking precautionary measures to support the safety and well-being of members and staff alike. These include:
  • Frequent cleaning and sanitization in the branch.
  • Frequent sanitization of our ATM, including disinfection of high-touch surfaces such as countertops, door handles, handrails and keypads.
  • Frequent hand washing by employees throughout the day.
  • Requiring employees to stay home if they are sick or have any symptoms.
  • We encourage our members to take advantage of our digital, online and telephone services.
Our commitment is to keep you informed as we update our protocols, on the advice of public health agencies. We appreciate your support as we navigate this situation in the weeks ahead.
